I used to be a night sweats sufferer, waking up with a wet nightgown and damp sheets and having to get up and change my sleepwear during the night... then not being able to get back to sleep easily! And that was my motivation in seeking out moisture wicking sleepwear. Sleep is so important to my experience of a great quality of life and I was so thrilled with the benefits of wicking sleepwear... that I decided to open a night sweats sleepwear specialty shop in our newly opening Serene Comfort store. At the time that we opened Serene Comfort in 2004, wicking sleepwear was very difficult to find and not many people knew about it. Since then, we have been mentioned in the NY Times and CBS Early Show as a resource for night sweats relief and we have shipped thousands of  hot flash pajamas and night sweats nightgowns to happy customers. I was skeptical about the wicking night gown but I am pleasantly surprised. I am enjoying wearing the nightgown as it is very pretty, comfortable, soft and fits very well. I  like the quality and weight of the material also. I have found it especially comfortable during the dreaded night sweats. It really does keep the moisture away from my skin. This helps in 2 ways. It feels dry next to my skin all night and yet if I throw off the covers to cool down I am not chilly  as the night dress still feels dry to the touch. Much  much better than the cotton nightdress I have been using.  I am a nurse and I would recommend this nightie to anyone who has issues with night sweats.

just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much I like the wicking pj's I recently purchased from your site.  I am a BC survivor trying to deal with the continuing after effects of treatment, specifically hot flashes and night sweats.  I didn't think that a pair of pj's would make my nights less frustrating but they have!   Oh sure, I'm still able to heat the house with just my external "furnace" but the pj's do help by removing that clammy, sweaty feeling when the sweats and flashes do come. Jan D. from Nebraska. 

 

thank you for offering such a great product. i have suffering from night sweats since June i haven't had a good nights sleep… i just had surgery i had a melanoma on my lung , i would finally find a comfortable position to sleep and then the night sweats would start and i would have to to get up until i cooled down... this went on all night. that's when i ordered the pj's i am so glad i did. they do what they claim. i stay dry all night and i don't have to get up and keep changing t-shirts. thank you.  I wore the night sweats pajamas last night for the first time. I woke up because I was hot and having night sweats… but I wasn’t wet at all! They are wonderful… it was the first time I actually was able to go right back to sleep because I didn’t have to get up and change my pajamas.  I used to keep a stack of pajamas next to my bed to change into multiple times during the night. Prior to using the sleepwear, I would wake up drenched with sweat… I find the sleepwear comfortable and effective in keeping me drier, to the point where I no longer wake up in the middle of the night because my pajamas are soaking wet. Brenda from New Hampshire.

I recently won one of your nightgowns…I really LOVE it.  Recently I was sick with bronchitis and had chills + fevers so I wore that nightgown and it really seemed to help. It helps when I have hot flashes, you don't wake up soaking wet!!
